Oh my goodness – talk about the cutest flares, ever?! Someone commented on my IG last night that they remember I used to wear flares so much – and I really did! Every fall I got a new pair – something about fall makes me want to wear them. I went into Express right before we flew to Alberta and I tried on TONS of jeans (they were all really cute and under $100) and I ended up buying these mainly because I knew I’d get a ton of wear out of the dark wash. For sizing – I tried on a 4 like normal but they were just a little big and I felt like the 2 was actually a little more flattering. Also, I am not quite 5’7 and the length was great – my wedges are not super high. If you are shorter, I recommend getting them hemmed – thats what I typically do! Considering these are under $79 and look & fit like a designer pair makes me wish I would’ve taken advantage of the Express promo – which I think is buy one and get one for $19.90?! I think if I got a second pair I’d get the black ones for fall. Paired w/a chunky sweater or cardigan & a floppy hat!?! So cute!
 
Anyway, I am in Dallas, TX today – I’m getting a laser treatment for pores, acne scarring called Clear + Brilliant – has anyone tried it?! I’m just praying it will help w/the melasma on my upper lip bc it is out of control. I am so excited bc I’ve heard if you do a few treatments you see a difference. Praying this isn’t too painful! I’ll def let you all know how it goes!! <3

    I love your blog – you are adorable! My good friend works at a med spa and if you don't have success with the Clear & Brilliant (I've done that too and was pretty happy, but didn't have Melasma I was targeting), you should try microneedling.
    Funny story (I'm sharing b/c I feel like I know you, but I don't) – I'm in the Dallas airport and met someone from Tulsa who was telling me about the Gathering Place. Looks really cool! Don't meet many people from Tulsa, small world.

  13. Looking gorgeous! FYI that no one ever tells you, when you wax your upper lip it makes melasma and sun darkening in that area worse!!! Just in case you have been waxing. Same for if you wax above your eyebrows you will over the years notice discoloration in that area as well.

  36. Hi Emily! Do you have the LV Montaigne MM or GM? Just wondering because the purse looks great on you using the shoulder strap but I'm not a fan on the shoulder strap on my GM. Or did you purchase a shorter strap?

  42. Hi! Did yiu find tHat the clear and BRILLIANT laser Helped your melasma? I have two large patches on my cheeks and have tried usinF concealer, but the areas almost look Green with concealer, and you can still see a dark shadow. Inwas hoping tjay Double wear foundation and concealer would cover it. Would lobe to know if laser treaTments are a viable option. Thank you!!
