Okay, first things first – if you couldn’t tell by the photos, these were taken during a some kind of ‘alert’ – aka extreme wind advisory! John warned me and I was like “oh no, I’m used to the Oklahoma wind”, and as soon as I stepped out of the car I quickly changed my mind. Talk about hair stuck in lipgloss.. ahhhh.

Just thought I’d share anyway because I’m obsessed w/this sweater! I wore it so much over then weekend because it is comfortable like PJs, yet still really cute. And yea, if you saw my snaps last night/this weekend, you know I literally live in John’s sweats now. My PJs are getting snug and there is NOTHING worse than snug PJs so, I started wearing John’s. He’s territorial of them though (insert eye roll emoji) so he offered to go to Target and get some like his… and we did, for like $13 on the clearance rack! That being said, I am still wearing my normal jeans, but I am pretty positive this week will be the last of that. All of the maternity jeans I ordered are still kind of big so I’m just in the awkward stage where my others just barely zip (could be a comedy show actually), but I am so so uncomfortable when I sit down. Okay, I’m totally rambling and I’m sure this is boring – I am planing on doing a full bump-update this week though!!

Hope you all had a fun weekend & Happy New Years! I am so grateful for each of you!

  1. Hubby pjs are the best! Im loving that sweater it looks super comfy! I heard about the belly band (i think thats the name) where you put it over your normal jeans when they are unzipped and you can still wear them without having to wear maternity jeans.

  2. Hi there, was wondering if you have considered any of those maternity belly bands that allow you to wear your pants unbuttoned but they still stay up because the band is placed over the top. Might be worth a shot while you are still transitioning into maternity jeans since from what I remember they're not expensive. Sending lots of love and blessings to you and your family 🙂

  3. The belly bands and these button extensions were so perfect mynforst and second trimester. My hips/thighs/butt didn't really grow for the majority of the pregnancy and maternity jeans were really saggy until the third trimester. These aren't beautiful but they get the job done!

  4. I haven't read all the comments, so maybe someone suggested this already, but have you tried the "rubber band trick" with your jeans??? Loop it through the button hole and then around the button, so it has some give and stretches over your bump? I did that when I was in that awkward in-between stage. 🙂 I still do it sometimes when I eat too much. HA!

Love this look and all the pink. 🙂

  5. When I was pregnant and maternity jeans were still too big, I used a hair tie to keep my jeans closed. You just loop it through the hole and around the botton.

  6. Absolutely love this look! I love anything in that blush color! I've been eyeing those Valentino flats for so long but I'm so on the fence about them because I hear mixed reviews about how comfortable they are. how would you say the fit on those are?
