FALL SEPHORA FAVORITES // MAKEUP ON-THE-GO #SEPHORAHAUL
Ahh, Sephora. Do you guys know how much I love looking at that website?! I know I write a fashion blog [primarily fashion/outfits] but I think I get the most excited about my beauty posts. I try to update my blog once per week with a beauty post. I get so excited about new makeup releases and trying new products – also love reading the reviews on Sephora’s site! Anyway, just thought I’d pop in and share a few recent Sephora favorites! I do a #SephoraHaul every month [or so!] and I figured it was time for an update! **PS. I am DYING to try THIS – anyone tried it?! Thoughts?!?*
I have a few new Sephora favorites I think you all will love – I am excited to share! Side note – I get a lot of questions when we shoot outfits and campaigns when we travel and I thought it would be fun to share a behind the scenes! We were in Jackson Hole last week and I always carry my favorite teasing comb, powder [the Marc Jacobs Instant Accomplice Blurring Powder is SO GOOD!], lipstick, & gloss of the day with me when we shoot so I can touch up! Of course Luke thought that was like a bag of toys, lol! Would you all like a full post on that?
RECENT SEPHORA FAVORITES
|| Oh my gosh! So, I was buying the PTR Retinoid Peptide Serum and my friend who works at Sephora and always gives me the DL on everything said “what – have your tried this?!” and it was the Lactic Pore Treatment. She was like “oh my gosh! You are missing out!” when I told her I had not tried it. She said its a miracle worker & leaves your skin looking and feeling amazing. I use a lot of medical grade products for skincare but I knew it was a big deal for her to rave about it. I also knew that Lactic Acid was great for dry skin – so I wanted to try it. The product is one you put on your skin and leave for 3 minutes and then use water to ‘wash’ it off. It helps to exfoliate and close up pores. The Retinoid Peptide Serum is good as well – it is kind of you dream product in a way. So basically it helps to smooth out and get rid of texture // fine lines but also hydrates and plumps. I’m all about really hydrating my skin and also getting rid of any texture so these both have been great for me!
Okay — I raved about this in my last haul but GUYS! It is beautiful! I know a lot of you got it and I have had so many DMs ab how much you love it! I got the ‘Love Potion’ but my lash girl got the ‘Gold Blitz’ one — it is like straight gold glitter and I thought she was crazy! She told me about it before I bought mine and said it was sold out for months because a model wore it. I got the shade ‘Love Potion’ because it was pink but had the gold flecks. She got the gold fleck one and she put it on in front of me and ohhhhhhh my gosh! It is gorgeous! I showed it on my stories and got SO many DMs asking “what shade did she use?!” because it was so beautiful. She just had a lip liner underneath!
I love this!!! Okay so I got the La Mer one recently and it was not cheap. :/ I used it and never saw a dramatic change considering the price tag. Soooooo I got this one and I love it! Its a thicker formula but it is SO good. It really makes a difference – just read the description section on the Sephora site – and you will see how great it is! It has a hefty price tag too – not as bad as La Mer – but I will say that a little goes a long way since it just melts in and smooths out.
I saw Tati reviewing this and raving about it so I caved and purchased and IT IS SO GOOD. Seriously – if you are looking for a new foundation – try this out. Okay — but! I would say if you are oily & need help with that + shine – its a good one for that. It dries down matte but nothing too crazy. I lean more towards dry and I really liked it a lot! I didn’t test it for 24HR though – I can’t speak to that but I really love this one!
I purchased this during the VIB Event in August– I thought it smelt great but I really loved the packaging. I know that is bad but I love the bottle itself – such a statement. I really enjoy the scent though – its floral but warm – super good for fall / winter. Its fresh smelling but yummy – nothing crazy!
Not pictured — it is messy because I use it so much but it is an amazing palette if you like a bronzy/golden eye! I wear that daily and I absolutely LOVE this palette. The camel shades are very good and great for blending out the crease area. I am not great with eye makeup and I do the same technique daily but I really love this palette since it has all of my *must-have* colors for the eyes! The shimmer shades are so so beautiful!
YALL! This is such a gorgeous powder. I really like that it has a bit of a glow but nothing crazy or ‘highlighter-esque” ya know?! Its just a smooth, beautiful powder for brightening certain areas and really giving a natural glow. I did receive this in PR and I loved it! Also love their Hydrating Primer, too!

Just a reminder that you can sign up to be a Sephora Beauty Insider for free – and I highly recommend doing it because it gets you really great samples, birthday gifts, and access to their special events! I did a post last month about the VIB Event where you could get 20% off of your purchase if you are of the Insider, VIB, or Rouge status! Also, you collect points which help you get premium samples. I always use my points to buy the travel sized versions of my shampoo & conditioner so I can travel with it and not have to pack the full size!
