In case you are new, I do a Sephora haul usually once [or more!] a month. These are ALL on my blog and I only do my Sephora reviews on the best of the best products– that way it takes the guesswork out of your online makeup shopping! Sometimes I repeat products if they are major favorites or ‘holy grail’, but I try not to repeat products too much! That being said, you can use the Search tool here on my blog and search for MAY Sephora Favorites or any key word and it will pull up each of the posts. I try new products literally every day and I’m pretty picky! I always do a brief description next to the product link so you can read about it and get a good feel on it. Hope you guys enjoy – I found a few products that I am suuuuper into this month!
JUNE SEPHORA REVIEWS
CHARLOTTE TILBURY Airbrush Matte Bronzer || OMG! When I heard that Charlotte Tilbury was coming out with a bronzer and ordered as soon as I could!! I actually have been using it ever since it came in the mail, lol. It has hyaluronic acid in the formula so it is super hydrating and blends in beautifully. No dark spots or weird places like a lot of bronzers can do. I like a super bronzed look so I usually go in lightly and then touch up after I’ve set my face- it is defining a very great option if you like a natural, smooth sun kissed look. I use [Shade: 3 Tan] but I have heard other people say that the lighter shades are really good for pale skin tones.
MILK MAKEUP KUSH Lip Balm || You all know I love my lipstick HERE [Shade: Kim KW], but I have been wanting to find something more hydrating for makeup-less days at the pool. This lip balm is BOMB. Not only is it super nourishing, it softens your lips and its the perfect added touch on those no-makeup days! [Shade: Nug] You can get it clear too – but the shade NUG is my choice for light makeup and no makeup days because it gives a bit of sheer color and shine. It also has a nice minty taste. This is actually a product I saw a YouTuber raver about in multiple videos and finally I caved and ordered it!
PATRICK TA Major Brow Shaping Wax || As soon as this was back in stock, I had to get it- it has been sold out for months! I remember in April trying to get my hands on it during the VIB event and it was always sold out. I finally just got it and I literally loved it from the second I used it. I was telling the makeup artist at Hair by Chrissy’s that I got it and she was like “oh my gosh! I’ve been dying to try it but its always sold out!” – seriously its a hot item! I showed you all little sneak peek in my stories the other day, but I am OBSESSED with this. It is so easy to use and gives you the perfect laminated brow look. I just wet the product, use a sturdy spoolie [my fav is HERE], and brush through you brows. The wax is strong, but doesn’t make your brows look crunchy like some other ones I’ve tried. [Shade: Tinted] I tried a clear brow soap product last month and did not like it nearly as much as I did this one – especially with the tint!
HOURGLASS Veil™ Setting Spray || This setting spray is a new arrival by Hourglass and I was intrigued from the get go simply because I love the brand. It’s a super fine mist, so it doesn’t feel heavy or like you are drowning, plus it is made without sulfates or parabens. It has been so hot here lately and we’ve been spending most our days by the pool [PS. this is water-resistant], and this spray actually locks in your makeup!]. I will say, the Farsali one that I have raved about for over a year now is still a staple for me simply because it is so hydrating! [Read post here.]
ILIA True Skin Serum Concealer || If you read last month’s Sephora Haul / Favorites blog post then you already know that I’m becoming a huge Ilia fan. Its legit becoming a favorite brand and its happening fast because everything I’ve tried – I have really loved! This concealer is offers the perfect amount of coverage without setting into wrinkles or creasing. It is enriched with vitamin c and mastic to help refine, brighten, and nourish your skin- its a clean brand and I just like that its all so good for lighter makeup days. [Shade: Suma SC1.5]
TOM FORD Shade and Illuminate || I just got this in the mail at the end of May after hearing amazing things and seeing really good reviews and let me tell you – I was sold right away! I only got it for the shade part but I actually love both of the colors quite a bit! It is super easy to use and not intimidating like a lot of cream contour and bronzers. Its bendable and creamy. Not only can you can use it to contour your cheekbones and collarbones or brush it over your eyelids for eyeshadow. The highlight is subtle, but still gives you the perfect dewy look! [Shade: Intensity 01].
TATCHA Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 35 PA+++ || It is so important to use sunscreen to help prevent aging and this one is seriously so good- it is actually one of my favorite SPFs I’ve ever used honestly. The texture of this is super silky, but not at all greasy. It has Japanese wild rose which helps give you the ‘perfecting’ look by smoothing your skin and tightening your pores. I really feel like it does wear especially well under makeup which is a big deal. It does come out white but it sinks in immediately and doesn’t require any extra work! I know some SPFs are thick and can stay white for awhile but this one does not. The formula is very good.
TARTE SEA HYDROCEALER CONCEALER || This is a medium coverage concealer, but super buildable if you are wanting/looking for more coverage. I love that it has caffeine to help reduce puffiness and vitamin B3 to brighten your dark circles. Plus it is ultra-hydrating while also being sweatproof and waterproof [major bonus for summer]! I’ll admit, lately I have found that concealers are improving drastically. You guys know I never did like Shape Tape but I am a pretty big fan of this one – I also love the sponge that goes with it, too! It is probably one of my favorite beauty sponges of all!
ILIA Limitless Lash Mascara || My favorite part about this mascara is the comb-like brush- I think that is one of the handiest thing about it. It is dual-sided to help separate and lift every lash, while giving you a nice thin coat of product. Fun fact: it also include shea butter, so it conditions your lashes while giving you a natural volumized look!
LILLY LASHES Living My Best Life Collection || So many of you have been asking about my lashes lately, and the secret is finally out 😂 These are full-volume mink lashes that have a slightly thinner band than the regular Lilly Lashes. They have criss-cross layers, making them super fluffy and full! [Style: YASS QUEEN] PS. BE WARNED! My favorite strip lashes EVER that have been sold out for months are BACK! YAY! I got these as a my backup but I just noticed the ‘Natalia’ were re-stocked on Sunday so I ordered 5 pair. They are not super pricy compared to other brands in Sephora and they are literally just perfect. I wore them to dinner in Dallas last week and had people asking about them.
BRIOGEO Don’t Despair, Repair! Strengthening Treatment Hair Oil | You all have seen me post about this brand before – I really like a lot of their products. Also, just a heads up that this is a B.O.M.B. which stands for ‘black owned makeup brand’ – I’ve been trying to share more of my favorite B.O.M.B products on my platforms and this was one I wanted to highlight. The hair oil is new but it is pretty darn good. I really love their hair mask as well!
NÉCESSAIRE The Deodorant || I love the smell of this deodorant, it is the perfect amount of eucalyptus without be overpowering. Plus it has mandelic and lactic acid, which not only neutralizes body odor, they help to fight ingrown hairs! It also has kaolin clay and zinc that helps to keep you dry.
DIOR Lip Glow Oil || This is another product that is great for those low-makeup days. It is designed to react directly to the moisture level of your lips to create a custom color. It is way lighter than a gloss and does not have any sort of sticky feel when you out it on. [Color: Pearl] The color is definitely way more pink than ‘pearl’ – it pulls pink for sure! I feel like my nude lip colors go pink once I apply this!
GLOW RECIPE Watermelon Glow PHA +BHA Pore-Tight Toner || This toner has HA combined with cactus water and willow bark to help decrease the appearance of pores without drying out your skin. The texture is thicker, so it really get absorbed into the skin and gives a nice glow.
FIRST AID BEAUTY Weightless Liquid Mineral SPF 30 || This sunscreen is another weightless, non-greasy option! It does have a tan tint to it, so if you’re more fair complected, I would use it sparingly. It is formulated with vitamin E to help soothe your skin and is oil-free so it won’t clog your pores. I really like this formula a lot because it does not come out white and its light weight and just easy to use
