JULY SEPHORA FAVORITES

Hello! If you are new here, I do a ‘Sephora Favorites’ post each month where I more or less share the products I am loving from Sephora. I place a lot of orders on Sephora.com but I also get a lot in PR and I’m suuppperrr picky when it comes to beauty products so I really like sharing the ‘favorites’ each month so you can see the items that DID work out. Depending on the month, I try anywhere from 20-50 new beauty items – makeup, skincare, hair care, etc. A lot of times I will introduce ‘holy grail’ products that I use daily within my Sephora Favorites posts so I recommend always reading these if you are curious about what highlighter or concealer I have on in my stories! Okay, I’ll stop chatting and share the best of July – I tried to include a lot of my favorite outdoor/pool products, too!

What are you current Sephora favorites?  Let me know in a comment below!

TOM FORD Highlighting Duo

I just recently purchased this new Tom Ford highlighter– probably 4-5 weeks ago and I’ve been using it every.single.day. It is SO good. The price point is not so good, I do apologize but I will say that I notice I never have to re-purchase Tom Ford products because they seem to be full of product. I have a bronzer from 2 years ago that I still have not hit pan on – and it was one I used daily for 6 months! Anyway, I randomly purchased this because I was wanting to try something new and I notice that Tom Ford products are usually really, really good. I actually mix the two colors to apply to my cheeks and then I use the top color to highlight my inner corner and brow bone! I find that this formula is super smoothing – it does not highlight texture at all and it gives a seriously gorgeous glow! [Color: Reflect Gilt] *I did update my makeup routine HERE – it talks about how I apply this!*

The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG

This serum is AMAZING for the price point –  $6.70. I have tried a few Ordinary brand products and did not have a lot of luck but this one is one I love!  I am always on the lookout for products that help to reduce dark circles and puffiness around my eyes- especially during allergy season or if I have a hard time sleeping.😩 I feel like my face is extra puffy and I need all the help I can get! This serum has caffeine and green tea cathecin as ingredients, and they help to visibly reduce eye pigmentation and puffiness. You can use in the AM & PM as needed. I just use this in the AM under my makeup.

NATASHA DENONA Bronze Eyeshadow Palette

This palette is SO insanely EMILY, lol. I am a bronze type of gal and I tend to wear the same makeup looks daily. I don’t get crazy with my colors too often really. I actually purchased this one because it is smaller than her typical palettes thus it has a better price point. I love her packaging – the mirror is amazing and the pans are huge so I will likely never run out, lol! The colors are so me – I always do a tan, camel crease, a darker outer corner, and then shimmers on m lid! If you are curious what my currently makeup routine is – it is HERE. The mattes blend super easy and the shimmer colors are insane! They are shimmery- without being too overpowering so they are perfect for summer and will transition flawlessly into fall/winter. It includes matte, creamy powder and also the duo chromes, metallics, and shimmers so you can create a variety of different looks. Also, you’ve probably already seen this in my previous Sephora Hauls but I love THIS brush and get a lot of use out of it when it comes to using this palette.

DOMINIQUE COSMETICS Ultra Hydrating Fine Mist

So, I watch Jadey Wadey and Christine Dominique here and there on YouTube- and just saw they were collaborating to launch this spray a few weeks ago. Based on Jade’s background, I had a feeling it would be good so I ordered when it came out and I AM SOLD. You guys – this spray is so good – esp during the summer time. Its like being at the spa while doing your makeup because it is so refreshing, it smells like green tea and cucumber, and feels so good. It is infused with willow bark so it helps to calm skin and restores it to its ideal pH level. I read up on it and the website details say that it rehydrates skin and boosts moisture levels by up to 6,000%!!! It can also be used to prep your skin or set your makeup, so I love how multi-functional it can be. I personally use it during my makeup routine a couple of times to melt together the powders and literally refreshes your makeup. I feel like it does better than a lot of the ones I’ve been trying recently. If you are curious how I use sprays – all details are in my current makeup routine.

IGK First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo

This is an old school product for me – if you have followed me for a few years you’ve heard me rave about this dry shampoo before. It is easily one of the best on the market. I try lots of dry shampoos because I only wash my hair once a week so I rely on them the last 2 days and this one is easily the best dry shampoo. I promise it is worth the price tag. The main ingredient is detoxing charcoal powder which helps to lift dirt and buildup while absorbing oil and sweat, but it also has white tea powder in it so it helps to soothe and support your hair follicles. I highly recommend for anyone who needs to lengthen the amount of time between hair washes, or if you work out/sweat a lot and need help with oil & odor control.

TWEEZERMAN Prep & Plane Facial Razors

YOU GUYS. Do not waste time on these– they are bombbbb! I got them bc I was flying to AZ for a hair appointment last month and thought they’d be great to have in my travel bag. However, I learned quickly that these are not your average cheap hair removal thingies – these are 100x better – so be careful! They remove hair crazy easy and dead skin. I have purchased ones from Amazon that people rave about but these are the real deal. And if you travel a lot – you will be so glad you pack one of these. They don’t take up any space at all!

They softly exfoliate dead skin if you are super dry and need to remove it before applying makeup, etc. You can use them 3-4 times each based on the amount and texture of your hair but they are super affordable and easy to keep on hand and clean. Do use them lightly bc they are powerful!

FIRST AID BEAUTY Eye Duty Niacinamide Brightening Eye Cream

This eye cream is really good- it is different than other brightening eye creams because it has a very subtle illuminating shimmer. This eye cream visibly brightens, hydrates, and smooths the eye area while helping to reduce the appearance of dark circles over time- I also find that it is super hydrating and gives me a refreshed look right away. This is perfect for when you feel like you look tired and puffy. It has a brightening effect – like a glow – but I really like it for under my eyes. I use this over the Caffeine eye serum I mentioned above!

SHOP NOW
ICONIC LONDON Illuminator Liquid Highlight

This product is BEAUTIFUL- it is a concentrated liquid shimmer that can be added to your foundation, primer, moisturizer or by itself for a super-highlighted glow. Please let me warn you that a little goes a LONG way and it is powerful! You will legit GLOWWW. I have to use it with a wet beauty sponge and go in lightly. I like I for light makeup days by the pool. I have been using this for a little while and am obsessed, the ingredients are also super good for your skin so it won’t clog or irritate your skin at all. [Shade: Blush]

TOM FORD Traceless Soft Matte Foundation

Ok, love this foundation! It is a medium coverage foundation that is hydrating and super silky. It says it is a ‘matte’ formula but on my dry skin is is more ‘satin’ and super pretty. I feel like its a little pricy but I just thought I’d share since it is sweat resistant!  I notice that matte foundations work o me despite being dry because it blurs imperfections and hides texture. It is also buildable in case you need a more full-coverage cover, but it also looks super natural and flawless.

FIRST AID BEAUTY KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA

This is a really good body scrub – I use specifically on my legs and the back of my arms. My legs have the ‘strawberry’ look at times and I read online that this was the key to getting rid of that look. It is an exfoliating scrub that helps to even skin tone without irritating skin.  It has salicylic acid in it to help get rid of those bumps, too. I have been using it and can definitely tell a difference, my skin looks smoother and it helps get rid of any bumps or irritated and dry skin. Including this again because it is really helpful in self-tanning routines, and we are all trying to look tan this time of year, lol. I use this to help scrub off any extra tan or dead skin before applying my spray tan so that it looks smooth and flawless.

TARTE SEA Set & Protect Mineral Sunscreen Powder Broad Spectrum SPF 30

I LOVE this SPF powder bc it is soooo easy to use – so easy! Leave it by the pool, in the car, etc. and sweep it on as needed. I’m a major SPF person – as is John. We literally have 10+ bottles of SPF by the pool because we all use it so heavily. I always talk about how important it is to set your makeup and its even more important in the summer or hotter months of the year. This includes its own brush so you just pump it and brush it all over- the sunscreen filters are non-chemical so it won’t hurt your skin and sets makeup for up to 12 hours. It is translucent so it doesn’t provide any color, just protection! It is super easy to throw in your bag and keep with you so you can reapply as much as you need to [SPF doesn’t last all day so its important to keep applying]! It also smells AMAZING.

SHOP NOW
COOLA Makeup Setting Spray Organic Sunscreen SPF 30

This is a hydrating and weightless SPF 30 sunscreen mist, and it is SO good. I love the mist because it is refreshing and also offers protection and hydration. It has hyaluronic acid as a main ingredient, and if you have been following me for awhile, you know I LOVE anything with HA in it. It is so good for your skin, helping to bind in moisture and make your skin super soft at the same time. It also has aloe vera, so it is soothing if you have any extra sun-exposure and helps to heal the skin. It also will help to set your makeup and keep it looking fresh all day, also would recommend keeping this with you if you are running around so it is easy to re-apply!

SUPERGOOP! PLAY Body Mousse SPF 50 with Blue Sea Kale

This is a super lightweight, whipped sunscreen mouse with SPF 50 protection. I love it mostly because it is super easy to apply- the mousse is easy to spread and doesn’t feel greasy. I highly recommend if you are going to spend time out in the sun on the beach, at the pool, or anywhere else you are exposed to sunshine! It is also water-resistant and the ingredients are clean [which is SUPER important for sunscreen].

URBAN DECAY Naked Ultraviolet Eyeshadow Palette

I did an entire IGTV video on this palette, so if you want to see how I used it you can see it over on my IG page! The colors are super fun, but they also have my basic go-to bronzy shades so there are tons of different looks you can create from this one palette. I really wanted to share this because I know a lot of you like to implement other colors and I found that this palette is good for that!
