THE DYSON SUPERSONIC HAIRDRYER

I can not tell you guys how many times I’ve been asked if I’ve tried the Dyson Hairdryer OR if I can review it. I actually tried it a few years ago right when it came out – before extensions. I just remember thinking the price was insane and there was no way to justify it! This was probably 4/5 years ago and I didn’t really want to like it, ya know what I mean. Over the past few years anytime someone mentions that they use it I always ask why they like it and they always always ALWAYS say similar things like “it dries my hair so much quicker” OR “my hair is smoother when I use it”. After I got Hand Tied Hair extensions by Chrissy, I actually started thinking I’d try the Dyson again since my hair is so much thicker and longer — AND also because we’ve colored my hair and that always makes it less smooth so it needs some love! Anyway [sorry I’m chatty!] I ended up, giving it a shot about 4 weeks ago. I went in with an open mind and honestly – didn’t have super high expectations. The things I noticed were that I really appreciated: the size / weight / feel is nice, great setting options for heat / cool, and that my hair just dried much smoother. I don’t ever blow dry my hair right away because I usually wear it in a wrap that soaks up the water since hair extensions tend to hold on to water more so I can’t speak to how it cut drying time! BUT because I didn’t, I had my mom and my lash girl both try it!! Neither of them knew I was doing an experiment – they both just mentioned wanting to try it and see what the hype was about and then when they were done I asked for their feedback! ??‍♀️ My mom has blonde [processed??‍♀️], shoulder length hair and tape in hair extensions and she said that it definitely cut drying time and she liked the way it felt since it was not clunky and she said it was just easier to use and made her hair less frizzy. Now, my lash girl has SUPER long, thick hair – and Bellami tape-in extensions! I was really curious to hear what she said about it because she’s got a lot to work with! I actually texted her this AM and asked what she thought and she said [and I quote], “it cut my drying time down by 30%” – and I literally LOL?. I started wondering if she knew what I was up to… but she said she noticed that her hair just dried quicker and ‘lays smoother and is not so big”. She sent me some photos from after and her hair was SO dang shiny – like super shiny! I thought it was interesting that the tape-in extensions dried quicker as well – she and my mom have different brands of tape-ins btw.

THE DYSON SUPERSONIC HAIRDRYER! My final thoughts… if you are someone with a lot going on and want an easy fix when it comes to hair – the Dyson is so worth it. Yes, it is expensive but its a time saver and you end up using less product to smooth your hair because of it. I personally like the look and size of it as well! I think if you have really good hair that is healthy and shiny naturally, you may not need to invest in it – but if you have colored your hair or have super thick hair – it will be worth it! ALSO – random – but I like that it doesn’t suck up your hair and pull it out, ha!  Know what I mean?! I always get hair caught in the back of my others and it smells weird? and ends up breaking my hair.

QUICK FACTS:  The Dyson hairdryer has air multiplier hair drying technology that increases the air flow by three times – aka: cuts drying time down. With its 3 precise speed settings and 4 varying heat settings, it leaves hair smoother and shinier! It comes with all the attachments it comes with (smoothing nozzle, styling concentrator, & diffuser) which each service a purpose! The attachments are magnetic and so easy to switch out while styling.
